O2 Global Acquires All Occasion

O2 Global Chauffeured Services has acquired All Occasion Transportation, both based in Rhode Island, this past January. Tom Mazza Consulting represented All Occasion owner Eric Weiner in the sale from early discussions through the closing.

John Olinger, president and CEO of O2 Global, has serviced the corporate and leisure markets for over 5 years. It has a strong base of corporate and leisure clients through its retail brand Rockstar Limo (www.rockstarlimo.com), which will be complemented by All Occasion’s strong position in corporate markets. All current relationships with affiliates will remain unchanged from a branding standpoint. Weiner, who founded All Occasion in 1990, will work with the combined companies, focusing on quality assurance, marketing, and business development.

“Acquiring the All Occasion Transportation brand was not just about purchasing a customer list, but equally about purchasing a great company, with a top-notch staff and procedures. Eric has built a world-class organization over the years, and I’m excited to be able to work side-by-side with him and our new team in our next phase of growth,” says Olinger.

Weiner says, “For 20 years I have built a brand and staff that I am very proud of. Moving forward I could not be any more appreciative of entering this next stage of growth as part of the O2 Global family. I am excited to be working with a team with so much energy and vision led by the charisma of John Olinger.”

“The deal is a clear winner for both John Olinger and Eric Weiner, but most importantly their customers,” says Mazza. “We never listed All Occasion Transportation for sale. Eric and I believed that John was the right person to sell to, and that he had the talent and acumen to move the company forward.”
