Westwind Expands Service
This past February, Westwind Coachworks, owned by Jim Bolinger and based in Dayton, Ohio, was featured in the Dayton Daily News on how it is surviving the economy in his area. Westwind manufactures stretched SUVs and buses for the industry. It has been in business for over 25 years. Bolinger also operates Westwind Limousine Service, which celebrated its 25th anniversary last year.
He says in the article: “With Dayton’s economy the past few years, it’s been a struggle. To stay in the new economy, we needed to reinvent ourselves.” Bolinger teamed up with Jim Back, a longtime friend, and created Westwind Airport Valet, which opened up 13 new employee positions.
The new venture allows airport customers to park at their facility for a set daily price, with a free limousine ride to and from the airport. In addition, optional car detailing and oil changes are available.
