Weiner Named 2008 RI Small Business
Person of the Year
Eric Weiner, president and CEO of Rhode Island-based All Occasion Transportation, has been named the 2008 Rhode Island Small Business Person of the Year. Weiner was recently honored in Washington, D.C., during the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) annual event recognizing national small businesses.
All Occasion Transportation’s humble beginnings date back to 1990 when Weiner was a sophomore at Johnson and Wales University in Providence. With just one vehicle, a six-passenger limousine, Weiner was a staff of one. Now, more than 18 years later, All Occasion Transportation has grown into a worldwide company offering service in more than 600 cities across the globe.
“To be recognized by the SBA is quite an honor, one that is a culmination of 18 years of hard work and dedication. My vision has always been to offer unmatched customer service to our clients,” Weiner says.
Weiner is also a member of the Limousine Digest Editorial Advisory Board, and has been a featured speaker and panelist at past Limo Digest Shows, most recently at the 2008 Show in Orlando.
